Email is the only channel here, and it is read by the person who built the site rather than a support queue. Write to contact@gen-qr-code.com and we will usually reply within a few days.
What to include
A few details make almost any problem solvable on the first reply:
- A code will not scan. Tell us which generator you used, what you encoded, roughly how large it was printed, and what you tried scanning it with. It also helps to check our troubleshooting guide first — it covers the eleven usual causes.
- Something on the site is broken. The page address, your browser, and whether you are on a phone or a computer.
- A guide is wrong or out of date. Point at the sentence. We would much rather correct it than leave it.
- An accessibility barrier. Describe what you were trying to do and what got in the way. See our accessibility statement for what we have already tested.
Privacy and data requests
Send these to the same address. Bear in mind that QR codes are generated in your browser, so we hold nothing about the codes you have made and there is nothing of that kind to disclose or delete. Our privacy policy explains what little does exist.
Trademark and licensing
If you own a mark referenced on this site and want the reference changed, write to the same address and we will respond promptly. The site information page lists the marks and licences we rely on.
What we cannot help with
- Recovering a code you made earlier. Nothing is stored, so there is no record to look up. Download the file before you leave the page.
- Changing a code you have already printed. Codes from this site are static and the data is inside the pattern. See static vs dynamic codes.
- Whether a specific payment provider accepts our codes. Rules differ by country and provider, and change. Ask your bank or provider.
