The short version. This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, so it can recognise you on a later visit. Cookies are how most sites remember logins, shopping baskets, and advertising profiles.
2. Cookies this site sets
None. We use no first-party cookies, no session cookies, and no local storage for tracking.
The generator has no account to log in to and no preferences to remember between visits. Your settings — the code type, colours, size and error correction — are held in the page's memory and are gone the moment you close the tab.

3. Analytics
There is no analytics on this site. No measurement script, no visitor counter, no tag manager, and nothing that identifies you or follows you between sites. That is why there is nothing here to opt out of.
If you switch to Google Analytics. GA sets cookies and, in the EU and UK, needs prior consent through a banner before it loads. You would need to add a consent management platform, block the script until consent is given, and rewrite this page and the privacy policy. A cookieless analytics product avoids all of that, which is why it is the recommendation.
4. Third-party cookies
No third party sets cookies through this site. We removed the Google Fonts dependency so that page loads contact no external domain at all — fonts, styles, scripts and images are all served from gen-qr-code.com.

5. Controlling cookies
Since we set none, there is nothing to opt out of here. If you want to manage cookies generally, every major browser lets you view, block and delete them in its privacy settings.
6. Changes
If we ever introduce cookies, we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting them.
